Crokes' class to put the skids on Mary's

CROKES are always a headline act. They have been champions seven times.

(Tonight, O'Toole Pk, 7.0)

They have established themselves as a real power-house of Dublin football.

They came pretty close to making it eight titles last season. Ballymun pipped them by a point in the final. Pat Burke's display of point scoring in the second half was reserved for the Glenalbyn Gods.

Paul Mannion (right) lit up the championship, one of the most gifted forwards to have emerged from Páirc de Burca.

Kilmacud are unbeaten in Division 1. Mary's live in the same building.

Their fridge is always packed with Saggart spirit. Shay Walsh is a mighty midfielder, and there's always decisive donations coming from the likes of Denis Carrigan, Eoin Murray and the marvellous Marshalls.

VERDICT: Kilmacud Crokes
