Craobh to bring down Ballinteer

DUBLIN SHC 'A' GROUP A

CRAOBH CHIARáIN v BALLINTEER ST JOHN'S (O'Toole Park, Tonight, 6.30)

NOTHING stirs the Donnycarney brethren tea like the championship. The Craobh pride themselves on giving their all in the blue riband of Dublin hurling.

They'll have to go the extra yard here. Ballinteer are on the up. They beat Na Fianna in the opening round last year. Chiaráin's lost to Brigid's on the first day. Ballinteer delivered a notable all-round display against 'Boden in Division 1 of the AHL this season. Solid offerings came from Ronan Collins, Frank O'Donoghue, Oisín Power and Aodhán Clabby.

Craobh have the All-Star in their pack, Alan McCrabbe. They have other aces in Stephen Chester, Darren Kelly and Robbie Mahon. On the tight Crumlin stage, the sliotar will be moving with the speed of sound.

VERDICT: Craobh Chiaráin
