Canavan takes over in Erne

TWO time All-Ireland SFC winner, Tyrone's Peter Canavan, has been confirmed as the new Fermanagh manager for a three-year term.

Canavan takes over the reins on Erneside from John O'Neill after he stepped down from the position last month.

Six-time All Star Canavan will be joined on the Fermanagh management team by Kieran Donnelly (physical trainer) and selector Enda Kilpatrick.

Fermanagh will get their 2012 Allianz FL Division 4 programme off with a visit to Ruislip to face London in early February after which they face Clare (home), Kilkenny (away), Wicklow (home), Waterford (away), Limerick (home), Carlow (away) and conclude their regulation games with a home tie against Leitrim.
