Camogie: Congratulations to St Joseph

p Congratulations to St Joseph's College Lucan who won the Dublin Senior 'A' Colleges Championship when defeating Maryfield College. They have subsequently progressed to the All-Ireland semi-finals. St Joseph's also won the Junior 'A' championship when defeating St Mac Daras of Templeogue in the final.

Congratulations to Lucan Community College who won the Dublin Colleges Senior 'B' championship v Sancta Maria Ballyboden. They have a bye into the All-Ireland semi-final.

• The Dublin Colleges Camogie Minor Championships in now in full swing. Check Facebook under 'Dublin Colleges Camogie'.

• Dublin hope to have a team in this year's Legends Tournament which takes place in Dublin in March. Interested players should contact Colette Coady or Eve Talbot at 085-1128669.

• This year's Camogie Association Public Relations workshop, open to all county and club officers takes place in Croke Park, on Saturday March 2 from 10.00am to 2.30pm. The Camogie Association Social Media Guidelines and Set-Up Guide will also be launched at the Public Relations training event.

• The Camogie Association in conjunction with the National Referees Committee are running a pilot Hurling/Camogie 'conversion course' for current qualified hurling referees who wish to referee camogie. Course will be held tonight at Aras Laigheann, Portlaoise - 7.30pm - 9.30pm. Please contact Garry Beagan (Referee Coordinator) @ 085174364.

• Camogie Congress 2013 takes place in Westport on Friday and Saturday March 22 and 23rd in Westport, Mayo.

• On Friday, March 1 the RTé Mick Dunne Memorial Awards and the Camogie Association Media Awards take place in Croke Park beginning at 7.30pm. This year's winners will be announced on Wednesday February 6.

• The under 16A and under 16B teams' start their Leinster championship campaign in two weeks' time on Sunday, 17 February v Wexford at a Dublin venue while the Minors have their first Championship games on Saturday, 23 February. The "A" team v Derry at a Derry venue, the "B" team v Offaly at a Dublin venue.

• The juniors have their first National League Div. 3 game on Sunday, 24 February v Armagh at an Armagh venue while the Seniors have their first National League Div. 1 game v Clare on Sunday, 24 February at a Clare venue.
