ALL year Noel Brady had the Parnell Park pitch looking like a magic carpet.
Remarkably, between September 20 and December 4, a staggering 68 games were played at the Dublin HQ.
"I am indebted to our groundsman, Noel Brady, for his efforts," stated Dublin CEO, John Costello.
"Unfortunately, it is not possible to play all our adult finals in Parnell Park, but we always make every effort to play all our juvenile finals there. And that policy won't change."
Yet the Dublin chief was disappointed with the attendances at the majority of the championship games at the venue.
"They were very disappointing. And it was remarkable to witness the exodus of spectators after some games before a second, attractive fixture was to begin."
