BOYLESPORTS CHARITY BET

AND now we're suckin' diesel! The championship came alive with last Sunday's slice of Westmeath history ... so too did our 'Beat the Bookies' showdown.

'Team Herald' pulled off a spectacular €20 double on 7/2 long shot Wexford to beat Down and 5/2 outsiders Westmeath to ambush Meath ... cue a massive profit of €295. Even though Leon Blanche and his Boylesports crew scored a tasty €30 treble to earn €165, that wasn't enough to retain pole position. Still, with less than €17 between us, this is anyone's contest.

THE BLANCHE BET: €20 double on Fermanagh (-3) to beat Antrim and Cavan to beat Roscommon @ 11/4; €5 on Conal Keaney to score first goal in Dublin/Laois @ 10/1; €15 double on Wexford (+4) to beat Cork and Laois (+10) to beat Dublin @ 5/2; €10 Offaly to beat Kildare @ 11/5. CARRYOVER PROFIT: €568.75

THE HERALD WAGER: €10 on Cavan and Roscommon to draw @ 13/2; €20 treble on Kildare to beat Offaly @ 1/2, Longford to beat Clare @ 13/8 and Kerry to beat Cork @ 2/5; €10 on Laois to beat Dublin @ 7/1; €10 on Joe Canning to score first goal and Galway to beat Kilkenny @ 12/1. CARRYOVER PROFIT: €585.09
