BALLYBODEN St Enda's produced an impressive performance as they overcame a weakened St Vincent's by 4-10 to 1-5 in their Dublin Minor Football League Division 1 encounter at Páirc Uí Mhurchú last Sunday.
Central to their success was the attacking interplay of Colm Basquel and Adam Carney, with the former accounting for 1-6 of his side's tally, while Carney chipped in with two goals.
The visitors started brightly through an early goal, but they were on the back foot for the majority of the contest, with Boden full-back Dara Maguire and the industrious Cian Mellett especially prominent.
Stephen Ward also impressed at centre-back when introduced for the second half, while Basquel's Dublin county colleague Barra McGarry notched a fourth goal for St Enda's.
At St Mobhi Road, Glen O'Reilly struck eight points when helping Na Fianna to a hard-earned 1-15 to 0-8 victory over Clontarf.
Fellow inter-county minor panellists Ian Jesson, Eoin Murchan and Alasdar Fitzgerald all stamped their class on proceedings, while substitute Andrew Flannery looked very sharp when introduced.
It was a tighter affair at Kiltipper Road, where a late free by Oisín Kelly rescued a deserved share of the spoils for Thomas Davis as they drew with Kilmacud Crokes on a 1-11 to 2-8 scoreline.
Owen Short produced a sublime save for the hosts to keep his side in contention, and with Dáire Kerr and Chris Sallier in decent form, the outstanding Cian Murphy offered hope for Thomas Davis with a late goal before Kelly's dramatic late intervention.
