•Congratulations to our U16 B players who defeated Laois 5-9 to 1-6 at Naomh Peregrines on Saturday to reach the semi-finals of the U16 B Leinster championship. Best of luck when they meet Westmeath (All-Ireland C champions) in the semi-final on September 22.

The All-Ireland Camogie finals in association with RTE Sport take place in Croke Park on Sunday. The Premier Junior final between Down and Meath starts at noon, the Intermediate final between Derry and Galway is at 2pm with the Senior final between Wexford and Cork at 4pm. Organisers are hoping for huge support with lots of Dublin camogie people in attendance.

•This Saturday, the eve of the Camogie All-Ireland finals, will be a busy camogie day in Dublin. The Daintree Paper All-Ireland Camogie 7s will take place in Kilmacud Crokes, the Inaugural All-Ireland Under-14 Camogie Blitz takes place in a number of clubs throughout the county, and the Camogie Association will host its annual fundraising event at Shelbourne Park on Saturday evening. Visit www.camogie.ie for further details.

•Round 4 of the group stages of the adult championships continue this week today and on September 19 with a 6.30pm throw-in. See www.dublincamogie.ie/ Results/Fixtures/ for the championship details. An Rúnaí has sent details of procedures to be followed in the event of teams finishing on equal points after the group stages of the championship to each club secretary.

•Again a reminder to club secretaries, team mentors and players: if a player subs up to a higher grade in the adult championships, she cannot then play at a lower grade in either league or championship for the remainder of the current season. Regrading will be necessary at the beginning of next season. If you sub up in championship -- you stay up!

•Most tickets for Dublin Camogie's fundraising draw for the development of camogie in Dublin were returned at the County Board meeting last night in Parnell Park. Draw will take place on our annual presentation night -- date TBC. Contact Pat Martin at 086-3377755 or Patrick@drquirkeys.ie for queries, information or extra tickets.

•All refereeing queries should now be addressed to Garry Beagan (Lucan Sarsfields) at 086-3180092 or at dublincamogieref@gmail.com

•Roomex.com, a company for booking hotel accommodation online, has come on board with Dublin Camogie. This is a new income stream for the Board as Dublin Camogie gets a percentage of each booking made. For Dublin Camogie to benefit from this arrangement booking must be made using the Roomex.com logo on the Dublin Camogie site.

•Best of luck to PJ Fulham on his retirement after many years of dedicated service as Leinster PRO. We wish PJ and Maureen, who also gave many years of dedicated service as secretary of Leinster Council, health and happiness and a well-deserved rest.
