Blues bowl over the Barrowsiders

THEY had a comfortable win over Carlow on the golden turf of Clonshaugh last Sunday. Their next assignment is away to Roscommon on Sunday week.

The Dubs have won three from three. And they continue to look the business. Mentors Dave Dunning and Dave Pearson have a fine management crew alongside them.

There is such strength in depth in the squad. And so much calibre. The panel is big.

There's keen competition at training and a noble work ethic. There's a real sense of professionalism in the camp.

Last season, the Dubs reached the Division 3 final. They'd like to go one better. They won the All-Ireland Junior Championship.

Now, they reside in the Premier grade. That All-Ireland final is played in Croke Park. The last time the Blues were in Croke Park on All-Ireland final day was 2005. They'd love to return. They are going the right way about it.
