CRY Ireland co-founder Michael Greene was present to celebrate Fran's Day with Erin's Isle and O'Dwyer's in Finglas on Sunday.
Fran Leonard was playing for Isles against O'Dwyer's in division 4 of the AFL when he died from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome in November, 2006.
Each year, the two clubs come together to celebrate Fran's life with games involving the U10's and adult sides
Fran's family were the first to be screened by CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Youth - shortly after Fran's death.
The Screening Centre is very active now in saving and changing the lives of families at risk.
This year, over 1,600 people will be screened. The Centre is funded by voluntary contributions.
Scor na nOg final
THE Dublin final of Scor na nOg was held at Craobh Chiarain. The winners will represent Dublin at the Leinster semi-final at Parnell's on December 14th.
The winners were - Rince Foirne: Na Fianna. Amhranaiocht aonair: Fingallians. Scealaiocht/Aisteoireacht: St Patrick's (P). Ceol Uirlise: Fingallians. Bailead Ghrupa: Na Fianna.
Meanwhile, Fingallians will represent Dublin in the All-Ireland final of Scor na nOg Trath na gCeist at Citywest on December 14th.
THE Santa Experience is taking place at Croke Park.
It includes a trip to the Elves dressing-rooms, Santa's Grotto, Santa's interactive exhibits Workshop, a sneak peek pitch-side to see the sleigh and admission to the museum.
