Dublin Juniors require new manager

THE Dublin junior camogie team are inviting managerial applications.

This squad have brought much colour to the capital in the last couple of years. They have earned National League and Championship success.

Dave Dunning and colleagues did a top job. His cohorts this term included Ann Colgan, the last Dublin captain to lift the O'Duffy Cup.

Also on board were Dave Pearson, Padraig McConnell, Lar Wade, Shane Lyons, Alan O'Neill and physio, Lorraine Murray.

The side was a step away from reaching Croke Park. A very fine Laois team ended the run in the Premier Junior Championship semi-final in Athy. Dublin received some consolation when their centre half-back, Deirdre Johnston, received a 'Soaring Star' award.

The team had many stars, and now the letter-box is open for applicants.
