Consistent Craobh climb up to second in the top tier

Craobh Chiaráin registered their second win in four days as they overcame local rivals O'Toole's by 0-17 to 0-15 in their Dublin Adult Hurling League Division 1 clash at Blunden Drive on Saturday.

Alan McCrabbe (pictured, inset), Ciarán McGouran and Francis Usanga proved their scorers-in-chief and with Stephen Kelly excelling in a third midfielder role, Chiaráin's moved up to second in the table thanks to strong contributions from full-back Keith Elliott and midfielder Robbie Mahon.

On Thursday, 
St Jude's preserved top spot in the table following their narrow 0-12 to 1-7 victory over Lucan Sarsfields.

Meanwhile, in Tymon Park, St Patrick's Palmerstown eased their relegation concerns as they enjoyed a crucial 0-19 to 1-12 win over second-bottom side Faughs.

Shane Stapleton struck 13 points for the winners, who benefitted from the displays of Des Rushe, Graham Dunne, Liam Rushe, Garvan Gallagher and full-forward Aidan Glennon.

At Páirc Naomh Uinsionn, Paul Butler, Bobby Browne, Cian O'Callaghan, Colm Sheanon and David Treacy were all influential as Cuala enjoyed a fine 2-17 to 0-9 win over St Vincent's.

The remaining ties saw Kilmacud Crokes defeat 
Na Fianna by 0-18 to 1-13 while Ballyboden St Enda's cemented their mid-table position with a comfortable 2-18 to 0-10 win over Ballinteer St John's.

In AHL2, Eamonn Dillon-inspired Naomh Fionnbarra 
to a facile win over Ballyboden St Enda's with the Dublin senior panellist amassing 3-5 from play in his side's 5-15 to 2-7 victory in Sancta Maria while Fergal Armstrong hit 1-11 as 
Kilmacud Crokes accounted for St Oliver Plunkett's/Eoghan Ruadh by 2-17 to 2-13.
