Charlton keen on Andrews

NEWLY-PROMOTED Charlton have been linked with a move for out-of-contract midfielder Keith Andrews, writes Aidan Fitzmaurice.

The Dubliner faces an uncertain future as his short-term deal with West Brom has run out and the club have formally listed Andrews as one of their out-of-contract players.

Andrews had said he was willing to stay on at the Hawthorns but would only hold talks after a new boss had been appointed and so far there has been no movement.

Now Charlton, who have been promoted to the Championship from League One, have reportedly expressed an interest in Andrews, who was also being tracked by Celtic.

Andrews is expected to win his 30th senior cap against Croatia on Sunday.
