BOHEMIANS boss Keith Long has added some firepower to his squad for the 2015 season with the signing of strikers Dean Kelly and Marc Griffin.

Gypsies fans have seen four key players from last season's panel join Owen Heary at Sligo Rovers (Dinny Corcoran, Steven Beattie, Kevin Devaney, Eoin Wearen) while Dave Mulcahy has also left, for Cork City.

But Long, who had earlier sealed deals to sign Athlone Town pair Kealan Dillon and Dylan Hayes, has now brought in Griffin (Dundalk) and Kelly (Shamrock Rovers), Kelly (above) now joining the group of players to have played for all four of the major Dublin sides.

Hayes and Dillon played under Long at Athlone last season and he's pleased to reunite with the pair. "I know from working with them last season that Kealan and Dylan fit the bill," said Long. He has also re-signed some of the 2014 panel such as Jason Byrne, Roberto Lopes, Dan Byrne, Dean Delany and Adam Evans.

Meanwhile, Drogheda United's new management team of John McDonnell and Mark Kinsella have at last been able to work on their squad for next season.

Defender Alan Byrne has joined United after a spell with Athlone Town, while Drogheda have also re-signed popular defender Mick Daly. Without a manager for some weeks since the exit of Damien Richardson, Drogheda had lost some key members of last season's squad with Gavin Holohan, Gavin Brennan, Shane Grimes and Declan O'Brien all quitting United Park since the end of last season.
