Artful Aoife will skipper Dubs Armada

AOIFE Cullen (pictured right) will captain the Dubs Stars against Dublin at Parnell's on December 28th.

The vastly experienced St Vincent's defender is among five Marino representatives chosen.

They were runners-up to Ballyboden St Enda's in this season's Senior Championship final.

Boden completed the five-in-a-row. The Firhouse club have five girls included in the Dubs Stars squad.

"The Dubs Stars awards are very prestigious," comments Dublin PRO, Seamus Massey.

"They reward club players who have performed at a consistently high level throughout the season."

Lucan, semi-finalists this term, also collect five Dubs Stars, with Na Fianna securing four places.

The Glasnevin club reached the semi-final where they were pipped by St Vincent's.

St Oliver Plunkett's/ER have earned two spots, while there's one each for Erin's Isle, Skerries Harps, St Jude's and Naomh Fionnbarra's, Siobhan Kehoe.

Kehoe excelled in last year's splendid Dubs Stars contest at Ballyboden's Pairc Ui Mhurchu.
