Sarah 'still wants to act in Ireland' despite Hollywood vampire flick

The 19-year-old actress has just finished filming a vampire flick in Canada, and starts work on another North American production early next year.

Despite her success oversees, it is understood that the talented teenager still calls Ireland home, and will not be moving to the States to conquer Tinseltown any time soon.

A source close to the Dublin actress said that she was back on the Emerald Isle and would remain here until she starts filming new project, Brightstar.

"Sarah has no other projects in the pipeline at the moment. She has recently just returned from Canada," the source told the Herald.

"She would be happy to work wherever, she'd loved to get more projects in America but she's also looking at Ireland and the UK," they added.

The teenage actress, who got to work with Hollywood hunk Jonathan Rhys Myers, recently admitted to having a crisis of confidence over her looks.

The 5ft8 stunner told the Herald that she was anxious appearing next to leggy model Lily Cole, who took the lead role in gothic film, The Moth Diaries.

"I am a little bit intimidated about [meeting Lily Cole]," Sarah revealed a few weeks ago.

"I mean she's absolutely gorgeous and has the most amazing figure.

"I'll have to wear my best clothes beside her all the time," she said.

"They've also hired another model but I can't say too much about who it is yet.

"I'm definitely going to look really out of place beside them because they'll both be so tall."

The brunette first came into the public eye when she appeared on In America, a drama directed by Academy-Award nominee Jim Sheridan. She then shot to fame in the popular Tudors series.
