RTE's Jennifer reckons she has 'piled on the pounds' after luxury honeymoon

The 2fm presenter (34), who returned to her radio show Breakfast Republic on Monday, revealed how she had a mishap with their accommodation while they were away.

"We upgraded ourselves to a villa suite for two nights. It was very expensive. We did have our own butler, but we didn't know what to do with him," she said.

"I accidentally left my bikini in the sink while I was in the shower and ended up accidentally flooding the villa."

The super-slim star went on to explain how she also reckons she has piled on the pounds while she was on honeymoon, after taking most of July off to enjoy her nuptials.

The Republic of Telly star said that being married "feels exactly the same", apart from the fact that she has put on half-a-stone in three weeks.

Her wedding at Castle Leslie in Monaghan was a "great success". "We were lucky to have such a sunny day, and everyone had a great time. I went to bed about 2am."

And the only way she could hold in the tears was to make a "funny face" while walking down the aisle in order to keep her emotions in check.

She and fellow newly-wed Rosanna Davison both opted to honeymoon in the paradise Seychelle Islands.

Jen said it was the longest time she has taken off in years.

The Baldoyle native looked stunning in a Kathy de Stafford creation, which she teamed with a pair of Jimmy Choo sandals and a beaded hairband.

As well as co-anchoring her early morning breakfast show with Bernard O'Shea and Keith Walsh, the busy presenter will also be back on Republic of Telly this autumn.

But she has spoken before of how she wants "loads of children" with her other half as she already has loads of nephews and nieces.

"I'm the youngest and there's a seven-year gap between me and my next sister. I was a little surprise!" she added.
