Ronan Keating is to be recognised for his charity work at a star-studded event hosted by Hollywood actress Eva Longoria.
The former Boyzone singer will receive the Global Gift Excellence award in honour of the work he has done for the cancer charity he set up in memory of his late mother, the Marie Keating Foundation.
Singer and TV personality Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - now known simply as Cheryl - will also be honoured at the Global Gift Gala, which is part of the Global Gift Foundation's charitable drive to raise funds for women and children worldwide.
Challenges
The former X Factor judge will receive the Global Gift Philanthropist award at a charity gala in Paris.
The award will honour the work she has done through her charity, Cheryl's Trust, which supports disadvantaged children and teenagers across Britain.
"I'm honoured to be this year's recipient of the Global Gift Gala Philanthropist Award," she said.
"I'm proud of where I grew up, but I'm only too aware of the challenges that young people face.
"I want to give back and help young people who feel like they'll never achieve anything to reach their dreams and live a happy life."
The 32-year-old recently confirmed she was not returning to judge on the popular ITV show. She will focus on her music instead.
Singer Johnny Hallyday's wife, Laeticia, will also be honoured, as will French singer Line Renaud.
Longoria, whose own charity will benefit from the evening, said: "I am absolutely thrilled to be returning to Paris for our seventh Global Gift Gala.
"This event recognises prominent figures who dedicate their time and energy to helping those who need it."
The awards will be handed out at the event on May 9 in the Four Seasons Hotel George V.
