ANOTHER day, another gig for singer Rihanna.

Ri-Ri thrilled fans at Californian festival Coachella as she took to the stage for the chilled out event.

The singer has been enjoying herself at the festival, and after her set joined festival-goers, with one of her bodyguards carrying her on his shoulders so she could get a good view.

The star was in relaxed form wearing denim shorts, a cropped top and waistcoat as she chatted to a companion and saw acts such as David Guetta and Florence and the Machine perform.

Rihanna's good friend Katy Perry was snapped chatting to Florence and showing off her new Jesus tattoo on the inside of her wrist.

Unlike Ri-Ri, Katy (26) has opted to keep the blue hair she's been sporting since news emerged she was divorcing Russell Brand earlier this year.

Another girl keen to let it all hang out at Coachella was Vanessa Hudgens.

Keen

Showing that she is now a world away from her squeaky clean character of Gabriel in High School Musical, Hudgens (23) wore a bra top and shorts while partying with friends in the sun.

Meanwhile, British rockers Radiohead and folk band Bon Iver got thousands of fans dancing on day two of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and warm, blue skies chased away the cold and rain in time for yesterday's big closing act - Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.

Buzz was running high ahead of the rap duo's headlining appearance, with rumours rife about potential surprise guests - as well as a hologram resurrecting late rappers Tupac Shakur and Nate Dogg - who are thought to be joining the pair for their hit, California Love.

The line-up also featured Gotye, Florence + the Machine, Calvin Harris, DJ Shadow and Avicii.
