Revenues are up by 11pc at DCC
DUBLIN-headquartered DCC has reported an 11pc rise in revenues.
The international sales and distribution business said operating profit increased to £69.4m (€82.5m) in the six months to the end of September. Chief executive Tommy Breen (right) said the outperformance was driven by a strong second quarter.
"DCC retains a strong equity base, long-term debt maturities and significant cash resources, which leave it very well-placed to continue the development of its business in existing and new geographies," he said.
Meanwhile, the board of DCC has decided to pay an interim dividend of 26.12 pence per share, which represents a 10pc increase on the previous year.
