Reveller in kill threat to gardai

A TEENAGE reveller turned on gardai, shouting at them and threatening "I'll kill you two f***ers" after they broke up a house party, a court heard.

Conor Clarke (18) was dragged away from the house by friends after he started shouting abuse at gardai.

They had been called to the house in Tallaght by neighbours complaining about the noise. Judge James McDonnell adjourned the matter to May for sentencing.

Clarke, of Bawnlea Avenue in Tallaght, admitted before Tallaght District Court to threatening and abusive behaviour at Carrigmore Terrace, Tallaght, on May 22 last year.

Dad jailed for road offence

A FATHER-of-six caught driving without insurance for an eighth time has begged a judge not to send him to jail, saying he was attacked by inmates and needed stitches to a cut when he was last in prison.

Ionel Rostas (32) also said he was the sole carer for his children, as his wife suffers from a heart condition and is in and out of hospital.

Judge James McDonnell said Rostas of Drumcairn Drive, Tallaght, had shown "a blatant disregard" for the law and sentenced him to five months in prison at Tallaght District Court.
