Released 50 years ago this week, Richard Lester's exaggeration of a day in the life of The Fab Four at the height of Beatlermania remains a landmark of music cinema. Lester captured the public personalities of John, George, Paul and Ringo with great wit as they head to London for a TV show, there are great cameo roles for Wilfrid Brambell and Victor Spinetti and, of course, one or two songs you might recognise.
