Rain in Ukraine stops stormy Euro match

There was drama on, off and even above the pitch in Euro 2012 last night.

The match between joint hosts Ukraine and France at the Donbass Arena was interrupted by spectacular thunder storms and torrential rain.

Players were forced to flee the pitch as the heavens opened.

The match eventually resumed under a fiery-coloured sky after the stadium's ultra-modern drainage system had done its work. France went on to win 2-0.
