Quinn workers urged to back survival plan

QUINN Insurance employees have been urged to support the administrators as it was vital that "no barrier is put in place" that could jeopardise the sale of the business.

The administrators, in a letter sent to staff yesterday, said that the sale is entering a "critical juncture".

PROPOSAL

"The manner in which we proceed over the next few weeks will determine whether a sale is achieved or not," they added.

Another correspondence this week told staff that there was "no Quinn/Anglo proposal" and "no Quinn family proposal" for the insurer.
