Pres' and Rue Pool champs
PRESENTATION TERENURE'S wonderful team spirit aligned with some super performances were pivotal in Pres' winning the overall Girls accolade at yesterday's CDETB SCC Swimming Gala in the Alsaa Swimming Pool at Dublin Airport.
Pres' Rachel Rue may have been one of the youngest members of the squad but her influence was crucial. Rue powered her way to gold in the minor backstroke before leading the minor relay team of Layla Cherbatji, Laura Kelleher and Meabh Corcoran to glory in the Freestyle and Medley relays.
The Southside School's junior and intermediate teams also excelled in the pool with individual stand out displays from Caitlin McKean, Niamh Delmar and Ellen O'Rahilly before also winning the Freestyle and Medley relay titles. Larkin Community College won the overall Boys title.
