POLISH STARS . . . . THREE TO WATCH
Jakub Blaszczykowski: A commentator's nightmare – his surname is pronounced Bwash-cheek-ovski – but a joy to watch, the 27-year-old winger has scored 12 goals in his 57 games for Poland. A hero figure back home and in Germany, where he has won two league titles in five seasons with Borussia Dortmund.
Robert Lewandowski: A name that pops up frequently in relation to a move to the English Premier League, but it will take a lot of money for an English club to persuade Borussia Dortmund to part with the player, who's still only 24. Second-top scorer in the Bundesliga with 13 goals from 19 games this season, he's a real talent.
Grzegorz Krychowiak: Plays for French club Stade Reims and though still making his way in the international game (just five caps), this defensive midfielder has been the subject of positive reports.
