Plea to buy Irish food
AN Irish food producers' representative group wants people to focus on homegrown food in the run up to St Patrick's Day.
Good Food Ireland founder Margaret Jeffares is asking people to buy Irish and chose restaurants and hotels committed to using Irish ingredients.
"In supporting them you also help secure some 7,000 direct jobs," she said.
