Pippa can't wait for Christmas at home with baby
FOR most of us, sunning ourselves in glamourous Dubai while sipping cocktails by the pool is the perfect way to spend the Christmas break.
However, according to new mum Pippa O'Connor, this festive season will see her knee deep in nappies at home – and she can't wait.
The Kildare model is looking forward to her first Christmas as a mother after giving birth to son Ollie last April, her first child with her presenter husband Brian Ormond.
"I will be staying at home this year so it will be a big change for us because last year we were in Dubai," Pippa told the Diary.
"But I prefer it that way because it was just the two of us on our own in Dubai and this year we'll have Ollie and all our family around us."
"Having Ollie will make things much more exciting for us so I can wait," said Pippa.
Stylish
"He is very cute and it's nice when there is a baby in the house."
The stylish blonde will no doubt be sharing her special crimbo plans on her brand new website, Pippa.ie.
The 29-year-old officially launched the popular blog with a star studded bash in Leeson Street haunt House last Tuesday.
She was joined by hubby Brian and a host of their celeb pals, including presenter Lorraine Keane and X Factor singer Melanie McCabe.
Pippa indulged her guests with a lavish, yet stylish, candy buffet from The Sweet Treat Co.
Guests, including model Hazel Kaneswaran and singer Leanne Moore nibbled on the specialised candy jars and sweet treats throughout the night.
Pippa.ie has enjoyed over 300,000 views and the model turned business woman is now looking to hire someone to write full time for the site.
"I had someone designing the website, but I'm going to need to get someone to contribute and write for me full time," explained the AR model.
Pippa has her eye out for a top blogger who can help her bring her thoughts and ideas to the web.
"I didn't start out with the intention to make a profit from it, but if I can turn it into a good business than fantastic," she said.
Pippa said working alone on the blog would be too time consuming.
"I'm trying to balance it all with Ollie and the website and modelling.
"I have other projects that I want to do so it's all about finding a good balance."
Among those projects is the hope of finding more TV work after Pippa impressed when she co-hosted the Big Money Game Show alongside hubby Brian.
