Peter smitten by our Rosie on city trip

Herald columnist and former Miss World Rosanna Davison may be famous for her stunning looks, but she seems to have caught one reality star's eye in particular.

Jordan's ex-husband Peter Andre was in town for the opening of the Skechers footwear store on Henry Street, but like any good celebrity, it's never all work and no play.

Looking completely enamoured with the top model, Peter's jaw had all but dropped to the floor when he met the beauty queen.

While Rosanna may be used to mingling with famous faces, the newly single singer seemed quite taken with our girl -- putting his arm around her waist and staring affectionately at her.

And he even spoke of his infatuation with the statuesque beauty.

"Miss World, she is stunning, absolutely stunning. She's just gorgeous," Peter told the Herald. "Mr World was around as well. I asked him if Mr World and Mrs World were together, that would just be the perfect combination but he said they're not.

"I heard she's not single though. The Irish girls they're all beautiful, they're all stunning, everyone that I've met."

The gorgeous daughter of singer Chris de Burgh has been going out with Foxrock socialite Wesley Quirke for four years, but made sure to introduce herself to Andre at the invitation-only event, given that the pair had crossed paths at a beauty pageant seven years ago.

And the father-of-two was not giving anything away about whether he is single or not however, insisting that he is excited about seeing what the New Year has in store for him.

"It's going to be a New Year full of new things and new experiences. Who knows what it will hold." But it's not just Peter who's embarking on a new chapter of his life, Rosanna was in attendance with her new model agent Andrea Roche.

Peter, who was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery recently, is now back on the mend and said he was looking forward to having a pint of Guinness -- to boost his iron levels.
