Panto test for novice star Kamal

But Panto princess and presenter Leanne Moore (right) can't wait to see how Mr World and her new stage partner Kamal Ibrahim fares next month.

Leanne and Kamal (below) will star alongside Twink in Aladdin at the University Concert Hall in Limerick.

"He hasn't done the singing thing before so I think it's going to be hilarious," said Leanne

"I'm really looking forward to working with Kamal," she told the Diary.

The festive production, which kicks off on December 20 until January 5, was launched last week.

Despite being a novice among experienced panto performers, Leanne is backing Kamal to impress his horde of female fans.

"I don't know if he can sing, but I'm sure he can pull it out of the bag.

"It's a great cast with Twink there as well who is always brilliant craic," she added.

The show will keep Leanne, who regularly appears on TV3 show Xpose, in her native Limerick for one month.
