Paddy eyes more goals

IRELAND cap Paddy Madden believes he can deliver more goals to help Scunthorpe United get into contention for promotion.

The Iron have gone from relegation candidates to the fringes of the play-offs in League One under boss Mark Robins and with two goals in his last two games, Madden is on form.

"I know if I get one I can get loads so I am confident that the goals will keep coming," says Madden. "I've scored 14 so far which I am happy with, especially playing out wide, so if I get more than 20 by the end of the season I will be happy."

Meanwhile, the FAI are now facing a battle to get hold of West Ham prospect Anthony Scully after he lined out for the England U16s yesterday - just a week before he was due to play for the Ireland U17s against Croatia.
