Ozzy's son Louis packs up decks as he calls time on Irish scene
Rocker Ozzy Osbourne's son Louis is joining the exodus from debt-ridden Ireland, the Diary can reveal.
Louis, his glamorous actress wife Louise and the couple's two children Maia and Elijah, will relocate to Louis' homeplace of Birmingham on January 18.
The popular DJ has a number of work projects lined up there over the coming months.
Louis is Ozzy's son from his first marriage to Thelma Riley and he and Dr Dolittle star Louise wed at a no-expense spared wedding at Kinnitty Castle in Co Offaly in 2004.
The high-profile couple are just the latest in a long line of well-known names to have made the decision to flee debt-ridden Ireland this year.
Louise joined her close pal Tara Sinnott and Belfast-born actress Seainin Brennan for a night on the tiles this weekend ahead of her departure the week after next.
Celebrity agent Tara, who has sold her business Red Carpet Management, has also decided to leave Dublin in order to take up the position of vice president at the company of her close pal, former supermodel Caprice.
Ms Sinnott, who is the daughter of former owner of the Olympia Theatre Gerry Sinnott, will also be moving in to Caprice's home in trendy Notting Hill.
Prior to her departure ahead of her first day of work on February 2, Tara is set to join a host of friends for a going away party at Buck Whaley's nightclub on Friday, January 21.
"The party is taking place in the club's new VIP area and many of Tara's clients from the UK are flying in for it," said an insider.
"Some of the Coronation stars like Jack Shepherd, who plays David Platt, are hoping to come over for the night depending on their filming schedules.
"And of course all of her close friends and many of her Irish clients will be there, such as Ray Shah, Leigh Arnold, Will McCreevy, Siobhan O'Connor and Michelle Heaton," they added.
The ambitious blonde also had a chance to catch up with Heaton and her Irish husband Hugh Hanley when they had dinner together on Saturday.
Afterwards, they stopped into Leigh Arnold's going-away bash at exclusive members'-only club Residence.
The former Clinic star has vowed to take a step back from the limelight here on Irish shores and now plans to divide her time between New York and London, where she is hoping to further her acting career.
Foxrock native Leigh (31) is said to have already auditioned for BBC1's long-running medical drama Holby City, after signing up with London-based agency Diamond Management Limited, and has also been busy pursuing other work projects in the Big Apple.
The petite actress was joined by family members including her sister Chloe Arnold and her beau Justin Manville, and other close pals including Izabela Chudzicka as she enjoyed a send-off to remember.
