NA FIANNA v O'TOOLE'S

(Parnell Park, Tonight, 7.15)

BOTH sides have already booked their flights. This will be all about who tops the poll.

The Cartons continue to delight. Michael has hardly missed a putt all season. The Ayrfield defence has been zoned as private property.

Jody Bastow and Ger O'Meara excelled against Faughs. That was a demanding hour for the Larriers on the soft Crumlin sod.

Na Fianna will test their resolve again, although they are frowning following the injury that will rule Martin Quilty out for some time.

The Glasnevin path to the summit has also been earned with two worthy victories. They led Faughs by nine points. Faughs came back to within a point but there was no panic.

Fergal Breathnach is an accomplished finisher, as is Peadar ó Laoire, while Joey Boland is a treasure of the Mobhi Road.

Having reached the last eight won't effect the attitude in either dressing-room. Winning is a habit they'd both like to cradle until the bell rings for 'It's A Knockout'.

SO FAR -- Na Fianna: Beat Faughs, 2-11 to 1-10. Beat Naomh Fionnbarra, 0-14 to 2-5. O'Toole's: Beat Naomh Fionnbarra, 3-18 to 3-8. Beat Faughs, 1-14 to 0-12.

VERDICT: O'Toole's

NAOMH FIONNBARRA v FAUGHS

(O'Toole Park, Tonight, 7.15)

EAMONN DILLON had the Parnell Park needle and thread men out. His blistering free against Na Fianna burst through the net at the church end.

The sliotar was last seen heading towards the bingo hall on Collins Avenue. Dillon is well capable of testing the Crumlin cobwebs. Neither side can make the quarters but this should be an entertaining encounter.
