CHERYL COLE: It's been a tough year for Cheryl Cole since the blunt end to her X Factor US gig in May. With Black Eyed Peas star Will-i-am now presiding over her pop career, the two are recording Cheryl's third studio album.
And while her reunion with ex-husband Ashley Cole appears to have hit the skids, Cheryl plans to meet up with a soldier she met on a morale-boosting trip to Afghanistan.
DANNII MINOGUE: Since leaving the show, Dannii has kept herself busy with a style book, a season of Australia's Got Talent, clothing line and 15-month-old son, Ethan. Yet the wounds have yet to heal for Dannii, who said earlier this month: "It does eat all of us up and spit us out at the end."
When asked if she misses the hit show, Dannii responded: "I was so passionate about the contestants and I loved the mentoring bit but, you know, just balancing everything with family and home -- I am enjoying being at home with bubba."
SHARON OSBOURNE: Sharon's post-X Factor life has been peachy. She defected to America's Got Talent in 2007, and starred in reality TV turkey Rock Of Love: Charm School. Since then, she has sat pretty on the panel of The Talk (a US version of Loose Women). One persistent rumour hints that Sharon will also helm a daytime version of Who Wants to Be A Millionaire? Stateside.
NICOLE SCHERZINGER: So taken was Simon Cowell with Nicole Scherzinger that he has made her the co-host of the US X Factor. While working on the show, Nicole is also gearing up for the release of her debut album, Killer Love, in November.
