THINGS are not getting easier for our beleaguered Government. Political scandals, disastrous economic results and bitter rows have characterised the year to date and the public are clearly becoming tired of real issues being sidelined within a palpable vacuum of leadership.
With dole figures rising and shops and businesses going bust all around, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that this Government won't last the year.
Even if there is no election, there are plenty of tests of public support on the way . Our leaders are not displaying the kind of clear, decisive leadership this country needs.
Now a re-shuffle by the Taoiseach is being widely anticipated.
People want more than a reshuffle, they want someone to take charge -- and the sooner the better.
