Team can hold their heads high

Rarely, if ever, did so many of us find ourselves in the same disappointed state by 8am on a Saturday morning. Hopes were so high for our team, unrealistically so as it has now emerged.

It was good while it lasted and the ghosts of that nightmare competition in France four years ago have well and truly been laid to rest.

We've had four weeks of great rugby and the thrill of anticipation.

The odyssey is over for BOD, ROG and co, but they can hold their heads up. Now the hopes of the nation turn back to football. Here's hoping for a great performance in the Aviva on Tuesday.
