Letters: Tax the fat

I was sitting on the top deck of a Dublin bus the other morning when my tranquillity was rudely interrupted by a heaving mass of a man who took the outside seat. In doing so, he crushed me against the window to which I remained pasted until I reached my destination.

Perhaps Noel Dempsey would like to address this issue. A 'fat-tax' would generate money for a beleaguered economy and would go some way to addressing the injustice currently endured by passengers like myself.

In no way do I wish to offend anyone with my comments, I merely wish to vocalise the thoughts of the silent majority, like myself.
