Terry Prone (Herald, January 12) tells us that Eamon Dunphy is a great self-publicist. But Dunphy couldn't publicise anything if the media didn't swallow every press release, in the misguided belief that the public cares. In any case, when did being a great self-publicist become a virtue, as Terry Prone suggests?
I was brought up to believe that actually achieving things was a virtue. Clearly in Prone world, things are different.
