Families face cancer fight

Residents of a Dublin estate are concerned about what appears to be an unusually high number of people who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Despite huge advances in the treatment of cancer, it's an illness that continues to strike fear into the population.

The causes are varied and in many cases remain unknown.

The residents' elected representatives are right to call for an HSE investigation -- the HSE should act on these concerns.
