Dan White: Ad spending to drop 3pc

SPENDING by advertising- buying agencies is predicted to drop by just 3pc in the coming year, levelling out from previous dramatic falls.

Carat Ireland anticipates that the industry will be worth a total of €834m with print still taking in €302m, followed by TV at €225m and radio at €125m.

Analysts have estimated that the advertising economy lost €300m in 2009.
