Oil prices recover

BRENT crude oil held steady above $113 (¤86.70) a barrel today, recovering slightly after four straight sessions of losses, impacted by fears of slowing economies of the US and the euro zone.

Changes in the euro zone political scene after Greece's inability to form a new government and France elected a new leader have shaken an already fragile outlook for the debt-ridden region while economic growth sputtered in the US after jobs creation fell.
