Ocean race to yield €65m
BUSINESSES will have the opportunity to network during the Volvo Ocean Race in Galway this year.
More than 50,000 international visitors are expected to come to Ireland for the finish line this summer and yield about €65m for the local and national economies.
The Let's Do It Global centre is staging a tented village for business to make new connections.
Micheline McNamara, project director of Let's Do It Global, said that the race is an opportunity for Irish business to reach out and make new connections and also strengthen old ones.
