DUBLIN Zoo's baby boom is continuing with the arrival of an adorable zebra foal.
The stripy new arrival, a girl, has been finding her feet and bonding with her mum Wiesjem.
The unnamed foal is just a week old but she has been settling in well and staff are trying to pick a suitable name for her.
Her mum was already pregnant when she arrived at the zoo and carried the foal for just over a year.
"It was a long wait but certainly worth it," zookeeper Helen Bennett-Clarke said.
The foal is the first zebra to be born at the zoo in 23 years. The baby boom has so far seen a baby giraffe, a monkey, two elephants, two meerkat pups and a lion cub arrive within months of each other.
