Young hero to be buried with dad
A STUDENT missing at sea for 11 days will be buried beside his devoted father, who he drowned alongside while trying to rescue his girlfriend.
Tributes will be paid at Tullagh Cemetery today to Barry Davis Ryan (20), whose body was recovered from the sea off Baltimore in west Cork.
The Cork Institute of Technology (CIT) student and his father Barry Ryan (51) died trying to save Niamh O'Connor (20), who was swept into the sea as the family group enjoyed an evening coastal stroll.
