Will TV3 show RTE how to do daytime?
According to RTE, the winding up of The Daily Show and Four Live next March is down to finances. Which begs the question -- what are they spending the money on?
Two shows, based in the same studio with the same set, without highly paid presenters, no outside broadcast costs, and just a few guests coming in at the cost of a couple of taxi rides each.
TV3 make this kind of show in their sleep, and on a modest budget, but for some reason it costs RTE a fortune.
What's the betting that TV3 seize the day, and show RTE how to do it...
