Swedish Tomb Raider actress Alicia Vikander (29), who recently moved to Lisbon with her husband Michael Fassbender, has revealed it was a place they discussed living in when they first met.
"When I met Michael three-and-a-half years ago, he mentioned he'd been to Lisbon and loved it, and I knew friends who were moving there," she said.
"That was a time when I was starting to feel at home in London, but after Brexit I thought, 'You know what? I want to stay in Europe'."
Vikander can next be seen portraying Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider reboot, for which she embarked on a tough exercise regime as well as tucking into five meals a day to bulk up.
"I wanted Lara to be strong. I'm very petite and I wanted the audience to find the action sequences plaus-ible - to believe she could lift herself up with her own bodyweight," she said.
