We just can't wait to have baby number two, says Kian

JUNGLE king Kian Egan said he is planning another baby with his wife because they missed each other so much when he was in Australia.

The former Westlife star returned to The Voice Of Ireland yesterday just a week after scooping the top prize on I'm A Celebrity.

The 33-year-old swapped the Outback for Glasnevin as he took part in the Battle rounds being filmed in the Helix DCU last night.

"You'd never guess Kian had just won I'm A Celebrity. He just walked into the Helix and was joking with the crew like it never happened," an insider said. "Even winning one of the biggest shows on ITV hasn't given Kian an ego."

The singer said that his three-week stint in I'm A Celebrity has brought him closer to his wife Jodi Albert.

Kian said himself and Jodi had missed each other so much during their spell apart, it had made up their minds to have a second child to join Koa – nearly two – to seal their love.

The Sligo man told Hello! magazine that the experience made him reassess his life.

"Being away from my family made me look at our lives," he said.

"I was on top of the world and the only other time I'd felt like this was when we had Koa. I'd love to have a mini Jodi.

"I'm so lucky to have her and Koa and if we can give him a brother or sister, why wait?"

Actress Jodi added that Kian suggested having another child just moments after he won the title on I'm A Celebrity.

"We were in the canteen just after he'd emerged from the jungle when he looked at me and said 'We've got to have another baby,'" she said.

"I was stunned – but I'm all for it. I'd like a little girl next."

Kian – who was crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity in Australia a week ago – said his jungle adventure had been a life-changing experience.

"It taught me to take nothing for granted. Just to be able to walk past a shop and buy a bar of chocolate feels fantastic to me now," he said.

"When you're stripped of all the resources we have at our fingertips and forced to live on a small portion of rice and beans each day, it changes your outlook, makes you think."

The exclusive interview, featured in the new edition of Hello! magazine, meant Kian was unable to appear as a guest on RTE's Saturday Night Show at the weekend.
