Visiting VIPs make a date with Krystle

CELEBRITY hotspot Krystle nightclub will be beefing up its security on Saturday night for a star-studded after-party, following the much anticipated Walkers TV Now Awards at the Mansion House.

The Herald can reveal that the co-owners of the upmarket venue, Rangan Arulchelvan and Eileen Wright, have hired an additional 10 security guards to enforce a strict invite-only policy on the night.

No-nonsense bouncers have been employed to ensure that soap stars jetting in from the UK can enjoy their night on the tiles without being harassed by fans or the paparazzi.

And, according to co-owner Rangan, anyone who is not sporting a special VIP wristband -- no matter what their star status -- will not be gaining admittance to the exclusive bash.

The nightclub boss went on to explain how the coveted bands will be handed out to guests in attendance at the glitzy ceremony, and there will be no exceptions to the guest-list.

"We'll be enforcing a strict policy on the night," he told the Herald. "We've hired extra security to make sure that the stars can enjoy their night.

"There will be a lot of famous faces there so we're expecting extra paparazzi to be out on the night.

"Conor [Buckley] and Brian [O'Malley] will both be there to make sure it all goes smoothly, and myself and Eileen will be around as well.

"The hotel has already had a lot of calls enquiring about rooms. We want to give both the British stars and those at home a proper welcome and show that there's no recession in Dublin.

"We'll be very much in the party mood, with a drinks receptions, finger food and champagne available," Rangan added.

Rangan, Eileen and members of the Krystle team will attend the glittering awards ceremony earlier in the evening, where the upmarket nightclub has a table reserved.

Among the guests expected to return to Dublin for the event are Kym Marsh, Michelle Keegan, Katherine Kelly, Danny Miller and Simon Gregson.
