Virginia makes a Marbella splash with swimwear

Socialite Virginia Macari is keeping up appearances in her new home in Marbella.

The former Dublin Wives star was recently a guest at a ladies-only high tea event in aid of Positive Pink for breast cancer awareness.

There was a fashion show at the glamorous event which was held in The Boardwalk Restaurant in Marbella, after which Virginia treated guests to a sneak preview of her new swimwear line.

The mum-of-one modelled a one-off pink swimsuit that was designed for the occasion.

Afterwards, she offered the fuchsia swimsuit for auction to the highest bidder.

Pictures of the former TV star in the pink swimsuit and a flower garland in her hair appeared in Society magazine in Marbella.

Virginia shared the picture online (inset), writing: "Fun being featured in Society magazine in Marbella doing my bit for Think Pink".

Virginia moved to Marbella earlier this year with her fiancee Kaste Dahl and their two-year-old son Thor but Mr Dahl was deported back to Oslo in April to face fraud charges.

He was charged with fraud of up to NOK30m (€3.58m) in connection with a holiday cabin property located in southern Norway.

He has since pleaded guilty to fraud charges and will be sentenced in the coming months.

Wedding The couple were due to get married in Capri, Italy, in June but the wedding was postponed.

At the time, Virginia told the Diary that the nuptials were delayed due to family reasons.

Her actress sister Sonya gave birth to her first child on August 21 and Virginia cited the baby's arrival as a reason for delaying the wedding.
