Two assassins carried .38 revolver

BOTH gunmen carried .38 revolvers during the Corduff Park shooting, a gun also known as a .38 Special.

The six-shot revolver, made by Smith and Wesson, is not normally the gangland weapon of choice. Most gunmen choose to use the Glock handgun, which carries 13 rounds. But the .38 revolver is seen as a much more reliable firearm as it is less likely to jam when fired and needs less maintenance.
